Moon’s Eclipse

In Twain's vain of 
this Sane Masquerade
comes forth unequal
nightmare of the insane.
With bloody rivers and moon’s fading glow

Desperation is what kindred Sow.
Relief through false beliefs.
whether tremere sorcery
or ventrue policy
All feel their drying story.

As the moon rises,
as the air grows thin.
Eclipsing them be
He who sees 
all that they wish to disappear.

To his benefit
to his sanity.
The relevance of might
ignored by night
Truth revealed by dawn’s first light.

Feel the sharp, brittle
stitches of metal’s breach
upon your skin
perforating poisonous sting
of which it will never mend.

The Misbegotten eclipse arrives never in vain.
