Much of Natalia's early life is unknown.

=== Arrival on Martinique ===

Natalia, after arriving on [[Martinique]], chose to assume the persona of someone who would be able to hold status among the Kindred, that she knew she would be able to portray. She invented the character of Natalia "Nightblade" Leone, an Elder [[Lasombra|Corsair]] of the Caribbean, before presenting herself to the [[Martinique]] court for acknowledgement in the domain.

Natalia's arrival on Martinique coincided with political upheaval as the island was defending from Sabbat raids. Natalia could not pass up the opportunity to bring final death to additional kindred, and offered to assist the Court of [[Martinique]] and Her Majesty of [[Martinique]], Mercédès LaSganareuse. She was highly successful in her assassinations, which dispelled any suspicion of her infiltration, quickly gaining her the role of [[Scourge]] within the domain, the Prince's assassin.

Although her capabilities were unquestionable, Natalia continued to be an oddity among the court, gaining suspicion for other reasons from the higher officers. The longer she persisted in the domain, the more certain the Prince of Martinique became of her claim of clan being fraudulent. Natalia did not demonstrate the [[Lasombra]] weaknesses, which caused the Prince to question her identity. Natalia also continued to cause unrest within the court, never shy of threatening violence against members of it who questioned her violent actions. The Prince of Martinique eventually decided that Natalia was a ticking time bomb that she did not want to go off in her own domain, and sought a way to be rid of her.

The opportunity arose when a quest was given for envoys of the Court of [[Martinique]] to travel to [[Caliburn Island]] and assess the current state of the domain. Things of interest to the Prince of [[Martinique]] were involved, and having envoys within the domain would allow for the most direct line of up to date information. Natalia was tasked with assisting on this trip, to act as the muscle for the Prince of [[Martinique]], with the secret hope that Natalia would find her calling or meet her fate on the turbulent [[Caliburn Island]].

=== The Camarilla of Caliburn Island ===

Natalia arrived on [[Caliburn Island]] in December of 2052 and quickly established both territory and feeding grounds for [[Lasombra|Clan Lasombra]] in the [[Avalon City]] district of [[Carhaix]]. Her other actions were quickly brought to question as she attempted to capture the [[Thin-Blood]] [[Carl Redbeck]] in the streets of [[Brighton Beach]]. After the unrelated death of [[Carl Redbeck]] at the hands of the [[Anarch Movement|Anarch]] [[Nicodemus]], Natalia's haven was assaulted by the [[Ratkin]] [[Yoshi]], and [[Carl Redbeck]]'s brother [[Paul Redbeck]]. [[Paul Redbeck]] met final death at the hands of Natalia, but [[Yoshi]] escaped and continued to antagonize Natalia and spread stories about her being a giant spider.

Initially, the [[Camarilla]] of [[Caliburn Island]] backed her requests, calling a Bloodhunt for [[Yoshi]]. The [[Ratkin]] responded in kind by threatening war, causing the [[Camarilla]] to become less certain in their stance. As the tales of Natalia being a giant spider spread, the officers of the court became more certain of her deceit. As Natalia grew increasingly critical of the [[Prince of Caliburn Island]]'s actions to not defend Natalia from the [[Ratkin]] [[Yoshi]], it eventually reached a resolution as Her Majesty [[Evellen Willow]] named Natalia ''Forsaken'' from the Camarilla. Natalia appeared surprised by this, before being Dominated by [[Lord Payne]] to reveal her true nature, that of an [[Ananasi]]. She left the Court before further questions could be asked.
