===The Masquerade=== : If a character uses a masquerade-breaching discipline in view of mortals (such as mortal NPCs or "feeple") requires the player to roll to determine if the Masquerade has been breached. A Narrator should determine the difficulty, based on the number of mortals present, how far away they are, any attempts to cover the breach, etc. Even a perfectly-planned coverup has a possibility of a leak—you never know who was secretly recording with their phone, after all. Narrators have the final say as to what is and is not a Masquerade breach. The only places considered almost always Masquerade safe are: The Chateau, Live Current, and Isabella's.
