Malachi, also called The Big Dumb Stupid Ugly Fat Rat Is Gonna Eat Your Face, is a Metis Ratkin and the Rat King of NeoTomaRama.
Born into a world where Metis ratkin often faced prejudice and hardship, Malachai’s early years were marked by struggle. His parents, a union of Rodens and Homid ratkin, faced significant ostracism for their forbidden relationship. Despite this, they raised Malachai with love and instilled in him a deep sense of resilience and determination.
Malachai's ascent to power was anything but easy. He grew up in the depths of Caliburn’s underworld, learning the intricate network of tunnels and hidden pathways that would later become his domain. His keen intellect and ability to communicate with the spirits of the underground set him apart from other ratkin. When the previous Rat King met a tragic end, Malachai seized the opportunity, rallying both Rodens and Metis to his cause. His rise to power was swift and decisive, driven by a vision of unity and strength for all ratkin.
Malachai’s throne room, deep within the bowels of NeoTomaRama, is adorned with artful arrangements of discarded treasures and symbols of his reign. His court, composed of trusted courtiers like Vespera, Thorne, Lyra, and Rook, ensures that his rule is both just and effective.
