At character creation:
- 100 XP to start
- +20 XP for Patreon patrons
- +10 XP for submitting a backstory
- If your character dies, your next character gets the XP that the dead character would have earned from the last game, +2
After each game
- 3 XP for attending (+1 for Patreon patrons). A player may only earn attendance XP for 2 characters per game.
- 2 XP for submitting downtime actions (+1 for Patreon patrons)
- 1 XP for attending an approved social game
Game support
- 1 overcap XP for recruiting a new player that may be assigned to any character after the player has an approved character sheet and has attended 2 normal games.
- Players who contribute to the Dark Skylines Repo, the VRPG system repo, or create a quest-compatible world using the VRPG system may be awarded overcap XP.
- Players who create a quest-compatible avatar for themselves or another player may earn overcap XP.
Notes
- Players with two characters apply earned XP to both characters. This means that each character has a cap of 10/14 XP per month.
- A character can earn a maximum of 10 XP per month (14 for Patreon patrons). Note that there are two games per month. Recruitment XP is on top of the cap.
