Antonio Sanchez is a Gangrel and a member of the Anarch Movement.

History

Much of Antonio's history is unknown.

Mortal Life

Antonio Sanchez was born in Monterrey, Mexico and lived and ordinary urban live until he was 23. There at night he got into an urtication with a group of people that were messing with an old man. He tried to deescalate the situation; however, he was ganged up on by the group. As he was getting beaten all he feels was annoyance at the groups attempt to restrain, until one of them put him in a choke hold. The next thing he knew he was sitting right on front of the old guy, with the group drowning in a pool of their own blood. The old guy made an offer to Antonio to join him and become a boxer. Antonio accepted and asked for his name. His name was Austin Johnson.

So, for the next 4 years, within Dallas, Tx, Antonio trained and participated in underground fights in order to hone his skills that were taught by Johnson. He was taught regularly with one altercation to the basics, how to make an opponent bleed. He was shown how certain parts of the body can cause bleeding with little damage compared to the body. This technique proved to be effective in first bout with an official boxer. As the event was infamous as one of the bloodiest one-sided fights in boxing. The boxer had to retire from blood loss caused from hypovolemic shock.

This caused Antonio to be suspended from his first and only match. The boxer's support network was going to use their boxers rise in fame to increase their sales, however now that venture was wasted. So, they ordered a hit on Antonio's life, and while he was used to hand-to-hand and knife combat, in a dark corner street, surrounded by gunmen Antonio could do nothing but be a target practice and quick buck to his murderers. And his victims.

Post-Mortem Life

Johnson sensing something was amiss tracked Antonio to his resting place, gunned down. He was going make mortals who messed with his experiment pay, until he heard a breath. Antonio during the shooting spree manage to remember is mentor's teaching and tried to graze the bullets to his blood areas, which resulted in him surviving the shooting in exchange for increased blood loss. Now upon seeing this, Johnson decided a change in his plans and embraced Antonio in that alleyway. And the next thing Antonio knew he was in a jail with a misshapen Kine pulling off a stake from his direction. And Johnson said that they will be in trail.

Antonio was told that after the embraced he frenzied and went after his killers, there was no bodies found. Since he had no knowledge between his frenzy Antonio accepted this. He was also told that thanks to his embraced he was expected to learn the camarillas ways in order to stand trial as a camarilla member. So, Antonio was ordered to stay in his sire's library in order to become a proper camarilla member. However, what Johnson didn't expect was Antonio's newfound feeling of freedom backfire on him, as Antonio only researched the basics. Instead, Antonio was more interested in the general studies at the library, and the history of his clan.

So, years went, and Antonio became recognized as a Camarilla member, and immediately went to trial. In here he learned that his embrace was not much of an issue as he was given permission to be sired, the problem came because Johnson was not supposed to sired to a Gangrel, but to a Brujah. The agreement was that he was supposed teach Antonio the Gangrel technique of rending, and in exchange the Brujah would give him a Kine with an "iron heart" as a gesture of good faith between the sects. The complication came with what to do with the "tainted offering" multiple kindred wanted there to be no trail, whether it was to sour relations or it being a waste was never specified, so they wanted to use their boons in order to "persuade" for a quick trail, which would've resulted in Antonio's final death during his second day of embrace. However, thanks to a life boon from his sire the trail as a Camarilla member went through. Due to the fact that boons were involved from party from multiple sects it was decided that the new kindred would have to have to go separate locations in order to "show their value" the catch being they not hold the camarilla name while doing so. And so, it was decided that the Brujah would go west, and Antonio would go East to their destination. So, Antonio goes to his new home, Caliburn Island.
