Dark Skylines is filled with members of different levels of LARPing experience from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and creeds. What we all share is a love of our stories and characters. The most difficult lesson to learn as a player is that we are simply a thread in the larger collaborative story. In order to allow opportunities for every player to have their cool moment in our stories, in addition to the Graduation System, we utilize a system to spread around the more powerful, restricted character types.
High Restriction
Across all of your characters, you have only 1 character that possess any item from this list.
- Control of an Iconic stock location
- Regional positions or higher
- Fame 4+
Mid Restriction
Across all of your characters, you may have only 1 character who possess each item from this list. The restriction is per-item: you can, for example, have one character who has Golconda Seeker, another with Alternate Identity 5, and a third who is the Virago; you could not have one character who is the Prince and one character who is the Doyen.
- Power Level 3+
- Rare Clan or bloodline
- Non-Tremere/Giovanni with Thaumaturgy or Necromancy
- The same Clan/Tribe/Kith
- Officer Position in the same sect (excluding Primogen)
- Major officers: Prince, Advocate, Doyen, Harpy, Seneschal, Sheriff, Constable, Hatchet, Virago, or Warden
- Minor officers: Keeper of Elysium, Guardian of Sacred Spaces, Architect, Watchdog, Scourge, Primogen
- A 5-point Fetish, Special Gift, Artifact, or Treasure
- Alternate identity 3+ or Clan Adoption merit
- Prestigious Sire merit
- Unbondable merit
- Supernatural Ally merit
- Machiavellian Prodigy merit
- Master of Puppets, Monopoly, Paragon, or Entrepreneur merits
- Emissary to the Camarilla OR Ambassador to the Camarilla merit
Low Restriction
Across all of your characters, you may have no more than 2 characters who possess each item from this list.
- Elder Status
- Fame background
- Additional Uncommon Discpline
- Same sect (Except autarkis)
- Path of Enlightenment
- Special Gift merit
- Assistant officers: Talon, Deputy, etc.
