The Duchy of Pewter, otherwise known as Massachusetts, houses the only openly Unseelie ruler in the Kingdom of Apples. Recently appointed to the duchy after the death of the previous monarch, Perianiya, Duchess Gloria of House Ailil struggles to consolidate her rule. Her sovereignty constitutes a grand experiment by the King of Apples. Time will tell whether it succeeds in the face of the traditional Seelie sidhe with strongholds in Boston.
