Rat is a Totem of War.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Rat favors winning through stealth and guile or by swarming over his foes in overwhelming numbers. Children of Rat fight dirty. They strike from hiding and bite hard and deep. The Ratkin get along better with the children of Rat than with most other Garou, but they still do not trust them very much. Nonetheless, Rat is the tribal totem of the Bone Gnawers.

Rat is the swift, silent master of hit-and-run warfare — the original totem of guerrilla fighters. While Rat fights to weaken, cripple, then overwhelm, he can be as vicious as any other totem when cornered.

Rat exists in several forms:

  • As the Rat God, he chitters to his children to tear down everything in an orgy of death and destruction. He gnaws at the webs of the Weaver, trying to free Gaia from its clutches.
  • As Momma Rat, she is a gentler totem, concerned with protecting the downtrodden in the cities. She is especially fond of children and cubs, and will urge her followers to protect them from harm.
  • As Shadow Rat, he embodies the essence of stealth and subterfuge. The Shadow Rat teaches his followers the art of invisibility and silent movement, allowing them to strike unseen and vanish without a trace.
  • As Rat Warrior, he represents the fierce and unyielding spirit of battle. This form of Rat empowers his children with immense strength and ferocity, urging them to fight with relentless aggression and never back down from a challenge.
  • As Scavenger Rat, he symbolizes resourcefulness and survival. The Scavenger Rat encourages his followers to make use of every available resource, no matter how small or insignificant, teaching them to thrive even in the harshest environments.
  • As Plague Rat, he is the harbinger of disease and decay. This form of Rat spreads sickness and pestilence among his enemies, weakening them and causing chaos. His followers learn to use toxins and biological warfare to gain an advantage.
  • As Wise Rat, he embodies knowledge and cunning. The Wise Rat imparts ancient secrets and strategies to his followers, helping them outwit their adversaries and navigate complex situations with ease.
  • As Tunnel Rat, he represents the spirit of exploration and adaptation. This form of Rat is a master of underground networks and hidden pathways, guiding his followers through the dark, unseen parts of the world to discover new opportunities and avoid dangers.

Ban[edit | edit source]
