Editing Warden

The '''Warden''' is a special position unique to Caliburn Island. The Warden receives the abiding status traits '''Enforcer''' and '''Entrusted'''.

==Background==

Under the terms of an ancient supernatural agreement called [[The Compact]], the major supernatural organizations each appoint a representative who acts in a dual capacity as an ambassador to the others and as an enforcer of the borders of the island. The five traditional Wardens are:

* The Warden of Paradox, a mage. Currently a technocrat called Mr. Grey.
* The Warden of Glamour, a changeling. Currently a wildling Grimalkin known as Scarlett Hart.
* The Warden of Rage, a Garou. Currently Juicifer Splendor.
* The Warden of Blood, a vampire. Currently [[Plutarco Giovanni]].
* The Warden of the Dead, a wraith. Currently an unknown hierarchy officer under the command of Red Coat.

==Duties==

The purpose of the Warden is to keep the island secured and prevent anything on it from escaping. The Warden assists in keeping the island's buried secrets from being uncovered, and disposes of them if necessary. The Warden is also not allowed to hold any sect positions.

The Warden is also the arbiter of who in their community has the ability to leave the Island. Such requests require great scrutiny, because one can never tell if something, or someone, else is hitchhiking along.

In the event that there is a conflict as to who holds this position, only the Warden as recognized by the other Wardens of the island is considered the Warden. 

===New Abiding Status: ''Entrusted''===

As the Warden of Caliburn, you have a special responsibility in your duties.

'''Passive''': You are immune to passive uses of the ''Authority'' and ''Commander'' statuses as well as a Call To Arms issued by someone with ''Mandate'', while you are in the performance of your duties. In addition, you may leave Caliburn Island at will, without expending any downtimes or risking being caught.

'''Active''': By expending this status, you may grant the Fleeting Status ''Sanctioned'' to allow another person to leave Caliburn Island, without expending any downtimes or risking being caught. You may also expend this status to issue one command, related to the direct security of Caliburn Island, to someone on Caliburn Island as if you had the status ''Commander'' and they were under your status jurisdiction (The normal limitations of ''Commander'' apply.)
