The Manor of Madness is an enigmatic property located in the neighborhood of Norfal within Avalon. Questions about it's true nature, it's original location, and what has occured there are elusive and intangible.
Finding of Madness
The Manor appeared one day within the neighborhood of Norfal in Avalon, most individuals never noticing it's existance. The Childe of Malkav or Clan Malkavian who control the territory of Norfal were confused when the Master of the Manor approached them about it. When the Master of the Manor Morgain told them of it's powers his words made no sense and the timeline of the existance of the manor did not match the history of the location. This has lead to many questions and not enough time to hunt down the truths to them all.
Properties of the Crazy Land
The following has been stated by Morgain and is not fully understood.
- The Manor is not a normal building. It is connected to the Madness Network allowing it to hear and communicate it's needs and wants with members of Clan Malkavian.
- The connection to the Network allows it to use Dementation, Obfuscate, and some Auspex powers on those who enter it. This allows it to hide and shape passages, know who and where people are, and even inflict delusions into the minds of attackers.
- The Manors interiors are not normal and in some cases are larger than the building itself. It is able to warp and bend its interiors to navigate people where it wants them inside the manor, or even force them to an escape to avoid dealing with them.
- Recently it been seen that it can use Presence to scare off people, this was found out when Sammy came to the manor and did not even make it to a hallway before screaming and leaving.
Purpose of the Manor
Currently the Manor has two stated purposes:
- To hide Clan Malkavian from an upcoming armageddon that only the Manor understands and can protect them from.
- To be a collective haven of the clan when the world is unwelcoming to them.
The Masters of Manor
The Master of the Manor of Madness is a self-declared title held by the current caretaker of the Manor. The current Master of the Manor of Madness is Evellen Willow as of August 2052.
