History

Much of Joseph's history prior to arrival on Caliburn is unknown.

Ascension to Doyen

After the death of former Doyen Sobek and Warden of Blood Sobeka in an assault by the Camarilla, the remainder of the officers within the Independent Alliance chose to head to Boston to guarantee their safety and to prepare an appropriate response to the Camarilla's actions.

This lack of leadership left the Caliburn Island Independent Alliance in a tough position. It normally would require either three members of the Giovanni or Setites to appoint a Doyen, but an exception was made by the Janus Guard given the small numbers to allow a Giovanni Associate to claim the position of Doyen.

Joseph Johnson claimed the position of Giovanni Doyen after consulting with the rest of the Alliance and the Janus Guard on December 9th, 2052.
